Torassieppi Eco Reindeer Resort

A remote reindeer farm on Lake Torassieppi since the 1800s

About Torassieppi

Torassieppi Eco Reindeer Resort is nestled into a woodland area of the Arctic Wilderness in Finnish Lapland! Traditional Finnish Cabins sit quietly amongst the snow covered trees, offering a warm and cosy home for your stay. Just a few steps from the cabins is a small restaurant area, authentically furnished to fit in with the traditions of the local area. Guests will join together here for meal times, additional refreshments or to visit the souvenir shop.

Just next to the restaurant, and down towards the vast frozen lake, you'll find the equipment room. On arrival at Torassieppi, all guests will be given an arctic suit, thermal snow boots and gloves and a balaclava. These will be yours to keep for the duration of your stay with Lapland Famille. You will also need to visit the equipment room before heading out on the snowmobile safari, to collect your safety equipment.

Just opposite you will find the male and female saunas, available for use by all Lapland Famille guests during their stay at Torassieppi. And most importantly, tucked away behind the trees, is Santa's cabin, where you'll unlock the magic of Christmas with a private family meeting with Santa and the Elves.

Opening up from the woodland area, the large frozen lake offers the most picturesque opportunity to enjoy a quiet family walk or if you're lucky enough in the evening, to watch the dancing aurora in the night sky. On a clear night you will also be able to spot famous constellations, shooting stars and the neighbouring planets in our solar system.
